ZHANG Chang, WANG Cheng, SUN Rui-lin
2019, 18(2): 9-15. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018084
Abstract:
This paper focuses on the core meaning of cultural forest which can be described as "harmonious co-existence of forest and human beings ", analyzes the spatial dynamics and the humanistic characteristics of cultural forest, and teases out three key points to define the cultural forest. Then the paper summarizes the content of cultural forest construction including absolutely protective subjects (red line), basic human demand subjects (orange line), and the promoting demand subjects (yellow line). The main processes to form the layout of cultural forest construction might be as follows: to figure out the space source, to compose the potential space, to do the mapping of the cultural forest by public preference, and to synthesize the cultural forest construction pattern. Based on this, taking Shenzhen as an example, this paper firstly analyzes the residential area through the GIS and other technical platforms to determine the space source of the construction layout, secondly superposes the land use, the forest distribution, the greenspace resources distribution to make out the potential space, thirdly analyzes the indicative subjects of cultural forest construction that belong to red, yellow, and orange lines by investigation, satellite map analysis, citizen interview and questionnaires, and lastly, according to the actual situation of Shenzhen, forms the contents and their layout of the cultural forest construction.
Analysis of the Types of Tree Worship Based on Synchronic Study
WANG Rui-xiong, LI Fei
2019, 18(2): 16-19. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018113
Abstract:
Based on the synchronic studies, this paper divided the worship of trees into three types from the point of view of worship objects, namely the worship of tree-spirits, the worship of forest god and the worship of holy-trees. In the worship of tree-spirits, the tree as the object of worship was personified, and tree-spirit was the tree with soul. According to the worship of forest god, every tree in the forest was the place for the forest god to live, and the forest god was the result of the further abstraction of the tree-spirit. In the worship of holy-trees, trees were magical or holy tools. Nowadays, when all the human beings advocate the ecological civilization, trees and forests should not be worshipped as personalized gods, nor be abused as instrumental objects, but should be respected as the existence of life in the ecological community.

WANG Jian-wen, FU Jun
2019, 18(2): 20-24. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018125
Abstract:
The Shuimocun garden and the Ziyiyuan garden were two famous gardens built by the Mingzhu Family in Haidian area in early Qing Dynasty. Due to scarce historical documents, the locations of the two gardens and their relationship were not clear, and arguments between scholars was sharp. In this paper, on the basis of research by Mr. Zhang Bao-zhang, Prof. Jia Jun, Prof. Cao Xun, Mr. Jiao Xiong and other scholars, in combination with more textual research and field investigation, we draw the following conclusions: The Shuimocun garden was a big garden built before 1685 A.D. by the Mingzhu family in the east of the Shuimocun village (north part of today's Tsinghua University) in early Qing Dynasty. The Ziyiyuan garden was a big garden built by the Mingzhu family in 1687 A.D. in the east of the Weng hill (today's Wanshou hill) after the Shuimocun garden had been built. It had been rebuilt to be prince Guo's Zideyuan garden in 3rd year of the reign of Yongzheng. The existing part of the Zide garden (south yard of today's Central Party School) occupies 2/3 area of the Ziyiyuan garden.

British national parks have a complete planning system, rigorous programming, and tailored planning content. They are also facing major problems such as public-private contradictions, and are actively dealing with these problems through planning. There are obvious distinctions between British and American national parks. As the experience of a foreign country, British national parks are worth learning for the planning of our national parks in terms of strengthening planning coordination, improving planning consensus, implementing dynamic management planning, strengthening community planning and strictly implementing border management.
Comparison of Forest Culture Activities Between Two Suburban Forest Parks of China and Finland
ZHOU Xue-jiao, LI Wen-jun
2019, 18(2): 37-45. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018023
Abstract:
The human beings originated in the forest, and there is a natural emotional connection between people and forest; however, the modern city life cuts off such natural emotional bond between people and forest. Therefore, establishing forest parks near a city is the health, psychological, and emotional needs of city residents. Many mature national forest parks have been established in European and American developed countries, while the construction of national forest parks in China is still in its infancy. Based on the field investigation and literature review, we compared and analyzed the similarities and differences of activity by which modern tourists interact with forests at the Heimifeng National Forest Park near Changsha City of Hunan Province and the Nuuksio National Forest Park near Helsinki of Finland, and tried to earn experiences for improving the construction of national forest parks in China. We draw the following conclusions. The tourism cost should be waived as much as possible by cancelling the entrance tickets, offering cheap and convenient public transportation and even providing financial subsidies by government if possible. The commercial operations should be reduced, which would minimize the noise caused by the commercial activities. Business operations inevitably require public attentions and thus bring noise, which is not in line with the idea that people seek peace in nature. Forest parks should be kept as quiet as possible even in the necessary business operations. The natural materials such as stones and timber should be utilized to protect the authenticity and integrity of natural ecosystems as well as natural and cultural heritage. This will enable citizens to have close connections with nature in a peaceful and natural environment during weekends or short holidays. We should improve the quality of tourists' activities in the parks, and cultivate their ecological consciousness of loving nature and cherishing life. Forest tourism has just risen in China, and many tourists still put emphasis on sightseeing, leisure and recreation. It takes some time to cultivate a simple sense of going out only for nature. It is necessary to carry out a systematic and scientific tourist feedback survey, then take the tourists' feedback seriously and adjust the park operation mode according to tourists' feedback.

ZHANG Lu, HE Chao, LIN Hua-zhong
2019, 18(2): 55-60. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018101
Abstract:
We analyzed the survey data on the willingness of purchasing forest insurance of 3 500 farmer households from Liaoning, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Yunnan provinces in 2016 with a Logit empirical method. The regression results showed that such seven factor variables as forest land area, the commercial forest area proportion, whether they know the policy-type forest insurance, whether they have participated in forest insurance, household forestry expenditure, household forestry income and whether the household owner has participated in forestry training, had a significant effect on farmers' willingness of purchasing forest insurance. We propose to increase forest insurance propaganda, increase forestry revenue, promote the development of commercial forest, and strengthen the policy publicity to feature-fixed farmers.

CHEN Ni, LI Si-jia, ZHANG Cai-hong
2019, 18(2): 73-80. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018111
Abstract:
Based on data from 2006 to 2016 in Guangxi, this paper analyzes the spatial-temporal differences in tourism income by using variation coefficient, Gini coefficient and Thiel index. Then the static panel data model is established to analyze the factors influencing regional tourism income in Guangxi. The results show that the absolute difference of tourism income in Guangxi is increasing gradually while the relative difference is decreasing gradually; the spatial distribution of tourism income is polarized and divergent, and the spatial differences mainly come from the Xijiang Economic Zone and the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. Per capita GDP and total road mileage have significant positive impacts on tourism income in various regions. Increasing the abundance of tourism resources, the number of travel agencies and star-rated hotels can promote the growth of tourism income in different regions. Accordingly, this paper puts forward some suggestions for different regions, such as promoting the healthy development of the regional economy, perfecting the layout of transportation network, and improving the quality of tourism resources and the capacity of tourism reception.

SHI Hui-yi, WANG Li-qun
2019, 18(2): 81-91. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018142
Abstract:
The article aims to explore the changes in the spatial pattern of regional economic development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and analyze the reasons. We analyzes the evolution of the spatial pattern of economic development scale and structure from 174 county units in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2006 to 2016 by the exploratory spatial method. It is found that the differences in regional economic scale and structure of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have a significant trend of changing in stages. The polarization of county economic development is obvious and the ratio of per capita GDP and tertiary industry GDP have significant, positive spatial autocorrelation, showing the spatial agglomeration distribution and the typical "core-edge" pattern. The pattern of spatial development axis of regional economy has been formed gradually and each functional area develops an economic development characteristic that conforms to the functional positioning of its own.The paper suggests that the main factors affecting the regional economic pattern in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region are economic development foundation, regional economic policy and geographical location. Finally, we put forward the policy recommendations for the structural optimization and coordinated development according to strategic function of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Analysis of Ecological Disasters in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region from 1912 to 1949
HU Xu, WANG Zhao-xu, ZHANG Lian-wei
2019, 18(2): 92-97. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018156
Abstract:
Ecological disasters are a kind of damage to human and its surrounding environment due to the abnormal change of natural ecosystem. From 1912 to 1949, there were frequent ecological disasters in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and many kinds of disasters alternated or even interweaved. Floods and droughts were especially severe, and derived disasters and secondary disasters were significant. Ecological disasters are the result of the superposition and interaction of various factors such as natural ecology and social politics, among which political instability, destruction of war, inadequate social governance capacity can directly induce the disasters. These ecological disasters further exacerbate the ecological environment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The social economy had suffered serious losses resulted in the people's hardlife. However, it has promoted the public's awareness of disaster prevention and relief, and accelerated the introduction and establishment of modern science and technology for disaster prevention and relief. Meanwhile, it has accumulated historical experiences and lessons for the new China's disaster prevention and relief.
The Rise of Cli-Fi and Its Theoretical Dimensions
LI Jia-luan, WEI Qing-qi
2019, 18(2): 98-104. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018117
Abstract:
The American ecocriticist Timothy Morton defines global climate change as a hyperobject, which cannot be directly and locally observed by common people because of its super large space-time scale. Climate Fiction (Cli-Fi) came into being against this backdrop, showing to its audience what cannot be intuitively presented by data and graphs often used in science, making imaginable the unimaginable. Besides its ecocritic perspective for all species and the entire ecosystem, Cli-Fi also embodies cosmopolitan and feminist dimensions. As the latest development of eco-literature, Cli-Fi has drawn wide public and academic attention since its rise in the early 2000s.
