The Ecological Ideas Contained inDas Capitaland Their Contemporary Value
YUN Xiao-yu, CHEN Li-hong
2018, 17(3): 1-5. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018080
Abstract:
Das Capitalis a magnificent and epoch-making work, which contains rich ecological ideas. From the man-nature and man-man relationships, Marx criticized the anti-ecological nature of capitalist mode of production and constructed the basic framework of his ecological thoughts. Marx believes that there is a dialectical unity between man and nature. Labor plays an important role of media in the relationship between man and nature. The capitalist mode of production has caused the alienation of labor and has also led to the alienation between people. Only if the capitalist private ownership has been eliminated, could a true harmony between man and nature and between people be achieved. The ecological thoughts contained inDas Capitalhave important value for guiding the construction of ecological civilization in China's new era. Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thoughts in the new era are the inheritance and development of the Marxist ecological concept, and reflect the concrete practice of Marx's ecological thoughts in contemporary China.

Analysis of the Development Course and Practice of a Community of Shared Future for Mankind
LU Yan, JING Qing-hong
2018, 17(3): 11-16. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018081
Abstract:
The concept of community can be traced back to a very long time ago. Marx profoundly revealed that human society has experienced natural communities and unreal communities one after another. The real community is an ideal development form about the future of human society put forward by Marx on the basis of criticizing the reality of capitalist society. Marx's thought of community is the scientific ideological origin of the thought of a community of shared future for mankind put forward by the Chinese communists. On the basis of critically inheriting and absorbing Chinese traditional culture "cosmopolitism", Xi Jinping summarizes the thoughts and wisdom of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and other older proletarian revolutionaries, and advocates to build a community of shared future for mankind. He is courageous in exploring, continuously innovating, and boldly practicing in the temporal and spatial dimensions. In the new era, he contributes China's wisdom and China's plans to the development and progress of all mankind.

LIU Liang
2018, 17(3): 28-33. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018030
Abstract:
American soil conservationist Lowdermilk and German forester Fenzel are two representatives of the western scientists who came to China during the period of the Republic of China. Both of them had studied forestry in Germany and had visited China twice. They both taught at universities and hold concurrent posts in government departments. They proposed plans for the development of agriculture and forestry in related provinces, and also promoted personnel and science exchange between China and their own countries. They both made full use of China's geographical environment to start their own studies of forestry and soil erosion, and also had different levels of contacts with Chinese political and academic circles. This paper tries to analyze the backgrounds of their visit to China, the relationship with the political and academic communities, personality and social influence, and demonstrates the process of this group of people working in China and adapting to Chinese society.

HE Ling, CHEN Yi-ni, XIAO Hai-yin, ZOU Yin-ping, CHEN Wei-ming
2018, 17(3): 34-39. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018005
Abstract:
The production of tribute tea, on the one hand, meets the demand of the emperor and royal fa mily, becoming a special offer to imperial household. On the other hand, it has the nature of imposing in-kind tax on the local government by the central government, bearing the characteristics of such as expanding thearea of tribute levy and disregarding the cost. In Chinese history, there were some famous tribute tea houses, such as Guzhu Tea House, Beiyuan Tea House, and Wuyi Mountain Tea House. In order to meet the needs of paying tribute, the local government constantly expanded the scale of the tribute tea houses, and in golden age, there were tens of thousands of enslaved workers, and thousands of tea craftsmen. However, with the increase of the yield and producing area of tribute tea, as well as the consequent increase in the consuming amount of fuel during the tea manufacture, the local ecological environment has been damaged: mountain forests were cut down, which triggered the mountain debris fl ow disaster and the blocked waterway, badly influencing people's daily livelihood. Moreover, by the national central tribute tea house influenced the local ones. Tempted by economic profits, the local businessmen and common people also widely joined in the tribute tea production, which contributed more to the destruction of local ecological environment.

SHANG Qin-qin, YANG Jin-na, ZHANG Yu-jun
2018, 17(3): 40-47. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018017
Abstract:
Interpretation system is an important way and means of playing the role of services, education, management and other functions of tourism destination, and it is also a significant factor to influence the tourists' experience. In order to improve the tourist experience, we took the Nanhaizi Country Park as a case, collecting the information of travelers' satisfaction and their demographic data through field survey. Afterwards, we measured tourists' satisfaction of interpretation system by principal component analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. We found that three factors mainly contribute to explaining interpretation system satisfaction, museum (visitor center), participatory interpretation and commentary boards interpretation. And all these three factors had a positive impact on the satisfaction of interpretation system, especially the involvement interpretation. In addition, the study revealed that there were several major issues, such as the imperfect participatory commentary, the low utilization of museums and visitor centers, the lack of commentary content, and the unreasonable placement of commentary boards, affected the satisfaction. Finally, we proposed some strategic management suggestions for the country park service to improve the interpretation design.

QIAO Dan, LI Hong-xun, KE Shui-fa, ZHU Lie-fu
2018, 17(3): 48-55. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018024
Abstract:
Based on a survey of 293 households in Huairou District of Beijing, this paper analyzes the relationship between forestry public services and farmers' forestry production and management processes, as well as the role of supporting service systems. An empirical study is conducted on the factors affecting farmers' satisfaction with forestry public services by using multiple orderly logistic regression analysis model. The results show that the factors that affect their satisfaction are mainly the understanding of forestry policies and household income; in general, the overall famers are not quite satisfied with forestry public services, and they are eager for better, diversified services. Finally, we put forward the basis of the needs of farmers to provide diversified public services, increase publicity of forestry public services, strengthen training to farmers, and improve the income of farmers.
An Empirical Analysis of the Impact of Trade Facilitation for China-ASEAN Wood Forest Products Export
DONG Yu, WU Hong-mei
2018, 17(3): 56-62. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018043
Abstract:
This paper chooses four first-grade indicators, namely, port and logistics efficiency, customs and border management, institutional environment, and financial and e-commerce, as well as twenty second-grade indicators to construct a trade facilitation evaluation system and calculate the level of trade facilitation between China and ASEAN. We analyze the influence of ASEAN trade facilitation on the export of Chinese wood forest products by using the gravity model of trade. The results show that China's GDP and population, and communication barriers between citizens have positive impacts on trade volume, while ASEAN population and exchange rate have negative impacts on trade. The level of trade facilitation can improve the export of Chinese wood forest products. In order to promote the export of wood forest products, it is necessary to further enhance the level of trade facilitation of ASEAN, especially to speed up the development of finance and e-commerce.
Impact of the Opening of the New Suez Canal on the China-EU's Forest Products Trade Potential Under the Background of Belt and Road Initiative
LI Tian-yu, HOU Fang-miao
2018, 17(3): 63-68. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018011
Abstract:
China is a major exporter of forest products in the world, while Europe is one of the important markets for the export of China's forest products. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the China-EU trade of forest products. The Suez Canal is an important hub of the "Maritime Silk Road" in the China-EU trade of forest products. The improvement of the navigable capacity of the new Suez Canal will surely have a huge impact on the potential of China-EU forest products trade. In this paper, we use the stochastic frontier gravitation model to empirically study the impact of the opening of the new Suez Canal on the potential of China-EU forest products trade, and reach the following conclusions: the enhancement of the navigational capacity of the new Suez Canal has a significant impact on the decline of the potential of China-EU forest products trade and such impact has weakened over time; the new Suez Canal has a greater impact on the export of forest products to China compared with import. The drop in the potential for Sino-EU forest products trade is mainly caused by the drop in the export trade potential, accounting for 76.92% to 86.6% of the total volume. In the long run, the development potential of China-EU forest products trade is not as promising as we expect.
The Value Evaluation Model of Forestry Investment Projects Based on Real Options
ZHU Xiao-ting, ZHANG Shao-wen
2018, 17(3): 69-77. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2018010
Abstract:
Uncertainty of return, investment irreversibility, natural appreciation and management flexibility are typical characteristics of forestry investment projects; therefore, a reasonable and applicable decision-making method is necessary in a forestry investment project. The net present value (NPV) is widely applied in traditional evaluation of investment projects, but this method ignores options, which easily leads to inaccurate decision and wrong judgement. In this paper, we analyze the real options in forestry investment projects, including expanding options, narrowing options, abandoning options and deferring options. Then we build a real option value evaluation model based on binomial tree options pricing model, and verify the model in a real project, in which there exist different options in different stages. It is proven that the real option evaluation model is much more feasible and more accurate in forestry investment projects.

The Flood Disaster in Tianjin from the Perspective of Peiping—Taking 1939 as an Example
JIAN Yu-xiang
2018, 17(3): 78-86. doi:10.13931/j.cnki.bjfuss.2017146
Abstract:
The outbreak of floods in Tianjin in 1939 not only caused a series of negative impacts on Tianjin, but also brought certain influence to Peiping. This was due to the special geo-relations between Peiping and Tianjin and the resulting "lip-tooth dependence". In response to this impact, the Japanese puppet regime of Peiping took a series of the initiatives to offer assistance to Tianjin in settling refugees, raising disaster funds, releasing relief supplies and organizing medical teams in the names of " helping each other" and "fighting for the neighbors". The disaster relief activity in Peiping was considered as an important part of Tianjin disaster relief activities, which, from an objective view, did alleviate the impact of the floods on Tianjin. On the one hand, the appearance of such phenomena showed the relationship between the two cities in terms of suffering and sharing; on the other hand, it also showed that the two cities had established synchronization and coordination to some degree in dealing with natural disasters. For all that, under the background of the invasion of the Japanese puppet government, the disaster relief activities in Peiping had characteristics of concealment and deception. It aimed at shaping the illusion of "pro-ministry" and " goodwill between China and Japan" of the Japanese puppet regime and had the purpose of annihilating the Chinese people's sense of nationality and resistance. To a certain extent, it also determined the nature of the Peiping-Tianjin relationships.
