Contactless Sensing Techniques for Plant Drought Stress Experiments

报告内容：The four contactless sensing techniques will be presented which are useful or may be useful for assessing plant drought stress. The presentation will focus on i) spectral reflectance measurement and spectral reflectance indices and on ii) infrared thermometry and thermography. Results from different drought stress experiments will be presented, including the comparision of canopy temperature and grain yield of different cultivars of winter wheat and winter barley. Other techniques which will be presented in short are the measurement of crop soil cover by image analysis and of 3D canopy profiles with a 3D Time of Flight camera.
